Ravi Thakur


Ravi joined Northill in August 2013 as a Principal to establish Northill’s presence in the US. Before joining Northill, he was a senior US executive for Amundi Asset Management, where he launched the company’s fund offering in the United States.

From 2007 to 2011, Ravi  served as a member of the management team  for Dreyfus Funds, one of America’s largest and oldest mutual fund companies and a subsidiary of BNY Mellon Asset Management. Prior to that, he was Country Manager for Mellon  in Luxembourg, where he resided from 2000 to 2007.

He began his career with Brown Brothers Harriman as a management trainee, and held a variety of senior positions in the Bank’s Capital Markets businesses in New York, London and Luxembourg until 2005.

Ravi received a Master’s degree with Honors in Political Science from the Université de Toulouse I in Toulouse, France, where he was the recipient of a Rotary Foundation Fellowship for International Graduate Study. He is also an Honors graduate of the University of Houston, in Philosophy, where he was a National Merit Scholar.
